Its another milestone for the Federal Medical Center, Jabi as the chief medical director, Prof. Saad Ahmed hints on the hospital’s strides to include open heart surgery in the lists of sophisticated health care services provided by the facility.
Speaking at a news conference on his achievements since assumption of office in 2020, the Chief Medical Director says the goal for procuring the necessary equipment for the sophisticated heart surgery is to provide such special health care services to Nigerians who hitherto have to travel out of the country to get such services.
According to him, his infrastructure drive which included expansion of administrative office complex, and bed spaces is driven by the desire to make health services accessible to the masses, while providing a more conducive environment for health practitioners to work.
The Federal Medical Center Jabi is one of the foremost Government owned hospital in Abuja, the nation’s capital, with state of – the – art facilities.
