- Nigerians traveling to the UK no longer need to isolate after fully vaccinated

The UK Government reviews travel protocol for fully vaccinated travelers to England. The protocol requires that one must have been fully vaccinated with a full course of an approved vaccine in the UK, under the UK overseas vaccination programme before they can be exempted from providing a pre-departure test result or 8- day quarantine
The government in a guideline released on its website said one can still travel to England if they do not qualify as fully vaccinated but must follow different rules.
The government also said there are different rules if one have been in a red list country in the last 10 days and may not be allowed to enter England.

It said one must have had complete course of one of the following vaccines at least 14 days before arrival in England:
The vaccines according to the guidelines include Oxford/AstraZeneca,
Pfizer BioNTechk, Moderna, Janssen.
It also said formulations of vaccines, such as AstraZeneca Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria and Moderna Takeda, also qualify as approved vaccines.
The guidelines discloses that the day, one have their final dose does not count as one of the 14 days.
It further disclosed that from 4am on Monday 11 October United Nations staff and volunteers who have been fully vaccinated under the United Nations vaccine programme will also qualify.
